Will and Soph

One of my favorite roles in life is being an aunt to my absolutely adorable niece and nephew. William Dean and Sophia Grace are my sister's children and they are two of my favorite people in the world. I'm not just biased these children are gorgeous as you'll see from the pictures below. Not only are they beautiful but they are so fun to be around.

Will is 2 and he is my Godchild (a job that I hold very dear to my heart). He is the most intelligent little boy. He knows all of his colors, shapes, animals and their sounds, different kinds of trucks and tractors, counting to 30 and even a little Spanish! His memory would blow your mind. Example - Wes, or Uncle Dub as Will calls him, fractured his toe playing basketball and Will would ask about "Uncle Dub's" toe that he hurt playing "bassaball" for like 3 weeks. Did I mention that he knew the difference between an octagon and a pentagon and could name all of his shapes at like 1 1/2? He makes me smile as soon as I see him. He is so sweet and will always gives hugs and kisses. His Uncle Dub is one of his favorite people. Uncle Dub and Little Dub are two peas in a pod and Wes cherishes their relationship. Will was a huge part in helping us get through our fertility troubles. He was our "baby fix" and we spent tons of time with him. We just loved being with him and fulfilling our God parental duties!
Sweet Sophie Girl is another person who can make me smile instantly. Her huge smile melts my heart! She is almost 4 months old and 6 weeks older than my girls. I am so excited that they will get to grow up together. This was always my dream to have my kids close in age to their cousins, but I never dreamed it would work out so perfectly. Sophie is such a happy and strong baby. She loves her mommy and can't stop smiling when she's around. She rolls over both ways and loves to talk and stand when she's holding her mommy's hands. She has the same huge eyes her brother has and they are so pretty. I cannot wait to watch her grow and become best friends with my little ladies. I have 3 girl cousins that are the same age as me and it was so wonderful to have instant friends.

I feel so blessed to have these little angels in my life. My sister is an amazing mom and it shows in her kids. They are so lucky to have her and I hope they always appreciate her. She is my best friend and the person I want to talk to for everything. She always knows how to make me feel better. Tonight I called her just because I was feeling emotional. She just always says the right thing and I end up feeling so much better. God surely blessed me with an amazing family!
