A visit to the ENT

We had Stella's six month follow-up appointment with her ENT after getting her tubes put in. We took both girls and kind of hoped that he would just take a peek at Mya too because she had a nasty cough and cold. That is one perk of twins.....pay one co-pay and then just start asking questions about the other until the doctor offers to just take a look. LOL Dr. Bunge did look at Mya and said that both ears were clear, but I think I've mentioned before how Mya feels about going to any doctor. She is absolutely petrified. Wes held her on his lap while the doctor cleaned her ears and she just screamed. She was doing the whole can't catch your breath thing

after we left for a good 10 minutes. The nurses gave her a "I was a brave patient" Nemo sticker when we left. Stella had a few sympathy tears for Mya but was otherwise fine. She checked outjust fine as well so we don't have to go back until April. I have sneaking suspicion that we will be there this winter to have tubes put in for Mya. I hope not, but she probably could have gotten them last year and even though he said her ears were clear he said she could get one within the next week. And so of course, when she was a mess the next day and we went to see our pediatrician Mya was diagnosed with a mild ear infection and croup! Anyways, she fell asleep in the car on the way home from Dr. Bunge's office with a tight grip on her sticker. LOL

When we got home she perked up and enjoyed playing on their car seats from Daddy's car that were in the laundry room. Daddy's car was in the shop and boy did they have fun playing on those for a few days.

Different day, same fun!
