Coloring Eggs and Frosting Easter Cookies

Last Friday my sister, her kids, the girls and I all went to my mom's house to color Easter eggs and frost sugar cookies.

Eggs are done!  Now it is time to frost the Easter cookies they had all cut out earlier in the week on their "Nana Days".  First, we had to food coloring to make the perfect colors and then of course we licked the spoons!

 Who's ready to begin?  She's such a teacher! :)

My pride and joy!  I spent a lot of time on this bad boy!  Pretty proud of it!

We finished with a hunt for their Easter baskets from Nana and Papa.  All the girls got new bikinis and swim cover ups, a little candy and a sweet card.  Each family also got a singing chick that the girls LOVE!  Thanks for a great day, Nana!

Love the pics! :) I think our families are a lot alike as we did the same thing with my mom. Great memories! Your mom is so fun. Lyla just loves her. Oh and seriously, where did she find those bikinis? Love them!

She got them at Babies 'R Us on the sale rack at the end of the summer last year.

I love Mya's smile in that first pic. I've seen her doing that more frequently and it's adorable.
