Field Trip to Gahler Farms

On October 11th I joined the girls' preschool class on their first field trip.  I had already scheduled a doctor's appointment for that afternoon so I had a sub planned but was able to squeeze the field trip in before heading to my appointment.  The trip was a visit to the Gahler Farms, where they showed us the barn, the baby cows, a mama donkey named Cinnamon and her baby, Sugar :) and then out to the hay bales.  We learned some information about how they take care of their cows and get them ready to be shown.  It was a fun, but COLD morning.  I wasn't ready for it to be that cold yet!
