This year for Easter we did not travel at all. We had went to Indianapolis the weekend before with YaYa, YoYo and Aunt Kacie and we were going to Fort Loramie the weekend after for a family wedding so we opted to just stay home Easter weekend. We really missed being with our families down south but it was very nice to be able to relax for a holiday. Especially since I only had the Friday and Monday off around the weekend instead of an actual spring break.
On Friday afternoon we went over to Nana and Papa's to color eggs, frost Easter cookies and hunt for the kiddos' baskets with Aunt Ashley, Will and Soph.

A festive picture with her Easter lily! :)
Will did not love to wait for the eggs to color. Haha!
I love that my silly hubby will do playful poses when I aim the camera at him!
Still waiting...........
Easter egg dye on the shirt means we needed to strip Mya down. I think this was her plan all along because this girl LOVES to be naked!
Will decided he wanted to follow Mya's lead.
You can't really tell from the picture but she had dye all over her hands from touching the eggs.
So pretty and we only dropped and cracked a few!
The Three Musketeers!
Singing "Little Rabbit Foo Foo" and doing the hand motions to go along with it.
Cookie frosting time! Ashley's kiddos have their "Nana Day" on Tuesdays and my girls have their day on Thursdays every week. This week Nana had the kids help her bake the Easter sugar cookies so we could frost them today.
There may have been some eating going on while we were frosting. ;)
I'm pretty sure this girl ate more than she frosted!
Love this guy to the moon and back!
Unless he does this!
Nana and Papa's house - where cousins go to become best friends!
Trying to get a decent picture with Nana and her grandkids.
Oh well! Candid is always better!
Stella with her basket. She got bubble bath, a bath tub dress up doll with many different outfits to put on her, chapstick and a little candy. P.S. the little slip Stella has on top of her shirt was my mom's when she was little and all the little ladies love to dress up in it!
Mya with her basket! She got bubble bath, chapstick, bath tub flutes and a little candy.
On Saturday,we attended the Easter service at Cedar Creek. That is the church that I attend. Wes takes the girls to the Catholic church every Sunday and I go to Cedar Creek. For Christmas I went to the Catholic church so he said he would go with me for Easter. Saturday night Wes and I went over to my friend Jodi's house for a euchre tournament with some of my friends. It was sooooooo much fun! Nana and Papa watched the girls for us. This was the first time I had her put them to sleep at her house intending to wake them up instead of leaving them sleep. I wanted them at home for Easter morning. They did a great job transitioning and went immediately back to sleep. The Easter bunny didn't actually get to come until 1:30 in the morning and he was extra tuckered out when he was done! ;) Good thing our little ladies slept until 9:20!!!!! Here is their loot! They each got a new spring jacket, a pair of jammies, a new shirt, a 7 pack of undies, 2 books, an insulated cup like mommy's, a poodle purse, a necklace, bracelet and ring.
Finding eggs! The Easter bunny knew Mommy and Daddy aren't crazy about tons of candy so he put quarters, nickels and dimes inside instead!
Love her ragin' bedhead!
This girl and her "stripes"! To say she loves it would be an understatement.
Daddy took the girlies to the Catholic church while I got ready and made a dessert to take to my grandma's house. We had a delicious meal and had a great time with family. An extra added bonus of the day: my cousin, Brianne, asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding this September. I'm so incredibly honored to be a part of her special day and can't wait for all the festivities! We snapped some family pics on the porch before leaving. Here is Troy with sweet Reese!
The whole Buhro fam.

Saying bye to Uncle Zach.
Us
We ended the night by inviting my brother, Zach, and my cousin, Bryan, over to play euchre. We had had so much fun the night before and decided we wanted to play some more. It was a fun and low-key holiday!

Soooo many pictures that I love in this post!! Love the one of Soph and Stel at Nana's house and of "the three musketeers". The poodle purses are too cute and Mya's "raging bedhead" looks just like Soph's EVERY SINGLE MORNING anymore. Glad you had a relaxed, happy Easter!
I just love the girls' beautiful Easter dresses! So pretty!! I almost picked those tub flutes out for one of our kids, so you'll have to let me know how you like them. And I always love to see the pics of all four cousins together...such great memories y'all are making! :)
