Tonight was our first soccer game. After two rained out practices and a rained out game we were finally going to play a game. It started raining on our way there and when we got to the field I wasn't so sure it was going to happen this time either. There was another game that was supposed to be played on the field next to us but they decided to cancel their game. We were playing against our buddies, the Magnones, team and Wes and Jason decided that we would stick it out. We got wet and it was cold but it was so funny to watch. Mya kept running off the field and wasn't very interested in soccer at all. Stella stayed out there a little more but didn't really try to get near the ball much and when both girls played goalie they didn't even try to stop the ball from going in the net. LOL The other team won and I don't think we scored even one goal. That's what you get after one practice, I guess. Our cousin, Cora, was on the other team and she scored 3 times!!!! Go Cora! Mya and Stella are very loved little ladies. They had quite the cheering section - Mommy, Daddy (the coach), Nana, Papa, Uncle Taylor, Uncle Zach, Aunt Ashley, Will, Sophie, Aunt Brittany and Reese!

These pics are so fun, and I can tell that Wes is loving the opportunity to coach his girls!! We should get our kiddos together soon and have a soccer game. :)
Been meaning to comment on this post for awhile! Lyla had SO much fun playing soccer with your girls this season! I had to laugh at the picture of Stella (the one where you said "Stella stopped to pose for me) Lyla and Mya are totally doing their own thing by the goal in the background clearly paying NO attention to the game! hahaha :)
