This past Saturday we had planned to go to the pumpkin patch but it was so windy and cold that we decided to wait. We thought about Sunday, but it was an even worse day with a lot of rain. We had told the girls on Saturday and they were so excited and talked about it all weekend. They were bummed when we said it wasn't going to happen. So this morning when they woke up and we got them dressed we told them that we are going to the pumpkin patch after Mommy picks them up from Lisa's. Here's what they looked like when we told them!
Which turned into this....
Love this one. LOL
Lisa said they told her all about it today when I picked them up. We went home so I could change and we could pick up Daddy and then we headed out to the patch. It was still cold and a little windy but it turned out fine. The girls loved picking out their pumpkins and putting them in the "pumpkin wagon".

Then Daddy took them to see the goats and chickens while I got us some homemade donuts and cider. We took them into the barn where it was warmer and munched on our yummy treats. After Stella ate and in between bites for Mya they went and played on the hay bale slide and maze.

We snapped a few more pictures and then went over to the "How tall this fall?" growth chart that we've taken pictures by in the past. See here and here.

It was a fun evening and we had a great time! Now to carve these bad boys...

So much fun! Those pics at the beginning are stinkin' hilarious. And I also really like the pics inside the barn on the hay bales.
