Tuesday, November 20th was the girls' Thanksgiving program at their school. Wes and I took the morning off so we could be their 2 special guests. A day before the program my mom reminded that since we have twins we can have 4 special guests because each child is allowed 2, so I called Papa (my dad) and Great Verna (my grandma) and asked if they'd like to join us. They did and I was so glad to have them there!
When we got there we had assigned seats that had all of their sweet little handmade table decorations. We also had their homemade pumpkin bread, homemade butter and fruit skewers. It was just so sweet! The kids all filed into the room in their pilgrim and Indian hats. Mya did exactly what I thought she would do - she was stonefaced. Stella was quite the performer and she was really excited when she spotted us. They did a prayer and then were dismissed to their families so that they could eat before the program.

Love these Indian corn decorations!
Jax's eyes crack me up in this picture! LOL
The pledge
Playing their Tom-Toms.
Some of the kiddos were a little shy so several of the older brothers and sisters who were there and know the songs came up and sat next to the bleachers on the floor to help loosen up the little ones. It was so cute when my mom called "the upperclassmen" to come up! :)
The girls with Papa.....Nice face, Stel!
Nana/Mrs. Skees with Charli, Cora, Stella, Sophie, Mya and Lincoln.
Check out Stella's finger - not intentional, I promise! :) Also, I know I say this all the time but I just can't get over how much my girls and Lincoln look alike! He could definitely be their brother. His mom is my first cousin and actually they all share the same birthday. Linc is exactly one year younger than Mya and Stella. Love that little guy!
