I don't know what it is about Thanksgiving but somehow I never end up with many pictures of this holiday. We did what we always do on Thanksgiving - spend the night at Maumee Bay State Park with my extended family on Wednesday and head to Loramie on Thursday for the Bergman and Rethman get-togethers. I took exactly 2 picture at Maumee Bay. Wes and my mom watching the girls playing and him pointing out his stache which was days away from being shaved off.
And this picture cracks me up. See that boy in the red and the little girl standing outside of the little boat that Mya and Stella are sitting in? Well, those two kids weren't very nice to my girls and wanted the girls to get out of the boat. The girls weren't innocent in this, I'm pretty sure they know what they were doing and were holding their ground by staying in the boat. However, these kids tried to pull the girls out of the boat and Aunt Ashley wasn't having it. She walked over and nicely explained to the kids that anyone is allowed in the boat but they are NOT allowed to touch other people. :) Thanks, Aunt Ashley!
Thursday morning we headed down to Wes's mom's house in Celina for pie with the Bergman family. It was a small collection of people that could come but I got some really great pictures! The black and white pics of the girls turned out so good!

I love how Stella is looking at him in this picture! :)
After we had pie we headed out for the half-hour drive to Fort Loramie. We were headed to Great- Grandma and Grandpa Rethman's house for another delicious feast. Grandma Rethman makes shredded turkey gravy to put over mashed potatoes that is just so insanely good!!!! Yummy! I didn't get anymore pictures this weekend but we stayed Thursday and Friday nights at Grandpa's house and after attending the Theis Thanksgiving that Saturday we finally went home. Whew! Breaks never feel very relaxing for us and this one was no exception but we wouldn't trade family time for anything!

Aunt Ashley to the rescue! Love it!! And all this travel sounds exhausting just reading about it, but I'm sure your family members appreciate your efforts and look forward to the time spent with you all. :)
