Mya and Stella are 4!!!!

On their actual birthday the girls slept in because they were exhausted from the party the night before.  When they got up we let them open their presents from us and then I made a big breakfast of homemade waffles, eggs, sausage and orange juice slushies!  Nana stopped over and ate with us and brought the rest of their presents.  She knew they were going to get tons at their party so she just gave a few presents and brought the rest on their actual birthday.

They played with a bunch of their new toys from the party and then I got ready to go to a graduation party for my student teacher.  Daddy took them to Lincoln's party (they share a birthday with Linc who is exactly one year younger) and I met up with them later. 

The next morning I took them to their 4 year well checks with Dr. C.  They are right on target with their growth.  Mya is 39 1/4 inches tall and weighs 36.4 pounds.  Stella is 40 1/4 inches tall and weighs 34 pounds. They won't be moving to booster car seats for another year Dr. C. said.  I want them to be safe but that would have been nice to get those giant car seats out of the car. We never got around to taking their birthday pictures on their actual birthday so we took their yearly pictures by the birthday yard signs.

That night I went to work in my classroom for a bit because I am changing everything again and it was a pretty cool day so I wouldn't sweat my butt off! :)  Daddy took the girls to the park and had a photo shoot.....oh and they got to play too!

Happy Birthday sweet, sweet girls! We love you to the moon and back!
