Twin Talk Vol. 3

*Mya was being extra ornery one day and I told her she was a little stinker. She informed "I not a stinker. Don't talk about stinker. Name's Mya!!!" LOL

*Stella fell down and came up to me crying and told me she hurt her chin. I asked if her if I should kiss it to make it better. She told me "No, I need to watch Dora on the TV now!!!!" I said, "Oh, will that make it feel better?" She said "Yes, Mommy! NOW!"

*Mya comes up to me in a whiny voice and tells me "I hurt somesing. I hurt my body!" Body is very pronounced and comes out like bod-day.

*We were driving to Findlay to meet YaYa for dinner and when we got in the car Wes turns on a nursery rhyme CD. Stella LOVES Mary Had a Little Lamb and tells us over and over "I love little lamb!" Then she asks Mya (who does not answer her) "Mya, you like it?" repeatedly. Finally she says "Sis-ser (sister), You like little lamb?" Her tone of voice made it even funnier! And Mya finally tells her yes!

*Stella had an ear infection and had to have drops twice a day. She was really good about it and in fact kind of liked getting them. So anyway, I have learned that my super smart girls don't miss a minute. As we were getting ready for bed one night Mya tells me that she needs to "do Sissy's drops". Stella smiles and lies down. Mya counts her three drops (the cap was on) and then says "other side". Then they switched roles. When Stella was all done "doing Mya's drops" she smiled and said "You all set! ".

*Same night after we finished drops we continued to practice counting. Stella proceeded to count to ten IN SPANISH!!!!!!! Only mixing up seis and siete! Thank you, Dora! You are really paying off!

*This happened at Lisa's house. Lisa loves listening to Mya talk. She talks slowly and really pronounces her words and always in complete sentences. So Lisa is walking with Mya down the stairs after her nap and she tells her to hold on to the railing. Mya says "Ok, I will hold the railing and be careful because I don't want to bump a head (she uses her other hand to bump her head just in case Lisa doesn't know what that means)!

*They both love drinking "smoonies" (smoothies)! I brought them a strawberry banana smoothie home one day and I asked Stella if it was good and she said "smoonie is delicioso". Again thank you, Dora for teaching my babies Spanish.

*My grandma makes the best apple sauce in this world! The girls LOVE it. One night after dinner we called Great-Grandma to thank her for the "Asho-sauce" because "it so yummy". They can say apple so I'm not sure why it comes out that way but it is so cute!

*Every night as we are going to bed we have to give them a "spiny or hiny kiss" which is a spider man kiss. We hang them upside down like in the movie and kiss them. They think it is hilarious. Then once in bed they have to have a "peek-a-boo kiss" in between the slats of their crib. I can't get enough and neither can they. :)

I LOVE those girls!!! They are so freakin' smart! And they crack me up. I got a peek-a-boo kiss last night when I put them to bed. So cute. And I love how sweet they are to each other.

So cute! Logan wowed me by counting in Spanish a few weeks ago, too. I love seeing kids learn! (Guess that's why I'm a teacher)
