Toledo Holiday Parade

November 19th was the Toledo Holiday Parade. We had seen in the paper that Dora and Diego would be there and well anyone who reads my blog knows that Dora and Diego are just about the best thing since sliced bread to the two toddlers that live in my house! Shortly after we got downtown and were walking to find a place somewhat sheltered from the wind we caught a glimpse of them. To say the kids were excited would be an understatement. They were enamored, especially Mya. She just couldn't take her eyes off of him. She was clapping and staring. We tried to get a picture of them with their idols but none turned out. They just kept looking up and them. I took about 12 and they all look just like this. LOL

After all of that excitement we ventured further down the street to find our spot. We found an open space that we stood in for about half of the parade, but it was so cold and windy. Then my mom had the genius idea to see if the doors were unlocked to the downtown buildings. They were and they were all lined with windows. No one else seemed to have our great idea so we had tons of warm space to ourselves and could still see perfectly! We had a great time and it got me very excited to kick off this holiday season!
