Twin Talk Vol. 17

*Almost everything Mya says has the word “uhcuz” in it several times. If you aren't fluent in Mya's dialect that is because. When she is trying to finish her thought and is thinking she will just repeat uhcuz several times until she remembers what she was going to say. She used to say because correctly and randomly just switched but I think it is so cute so I don't correct her.

*Stella was sticking her belly out and said to Mya “You pretend you're Uncle Troy and I'm Aunt Britty and I have a baby in my big belly and she's coming out in 2 minutes”. She then got her Cabbage Patch out and hands her to me and says “Here she is! Isn't she so so so sooooo adorable?” Aunt Brittany did finally have her sweet baby 2 weeks after her due date! Reese Elizabeth was born on Leap Day! :)

*I was correcting Mya for getting in the pantry to get a pretzel and she tells me “Well, I just got a pretzel uhcuz I was disappointed uhcuz I wanted to snuggle you!” I don't understand how those two thoughts are connected but I was just shocked that she said disappointed!!!!

*Mya was just waking up from nap at Nana's house and was just coming down from getting her diaper changed and Stella says to her “Hey there little Missy!”

*The girls were playing with their Little People “Ge-noah”and his ark. Stella informed us "This is Ge-noah and this is Mary". Haha

*We were out to eat at Bob Evans for a fundraiser for my school's After Prom. We ran into a lot of people that we know, but the girls were most excited about seeing Lisa, our babysitter, and her family. She stopped to talk to us for a little bit and then she turned around to talk to someone at a table across from us. When she finished her conversation she said to the lady she was talking to “It was good to see you.” Mya thought Lisa was talking to her and shouted “It was good to see you too!”

*Mya has been not very interested in potty training since we started last June. Stella is doing much better but is still not perfect. This morning Mya told me she needed to poop and so we ran to the bathroom where she actually did go a very little bit. Stella was playing in the playroom at the time so Mya yelled to her “Stella, I pooped!!!!!!” Stella shouted from the other room “Good job, Sis! Give me knuckles! Bust my rock!” I about fell off the stool I was sitting on because I laughed so hard.

*Our girls are little miss independents and don't want help with most things. In fact, if we try to help they will tell us “No, Mom (or Dad)! I can do it my own self!”

*The girls love to race their tricycles around our family room. We have wood floors in there and it makes for the perfect track. Lately, they have been lining their bikes up and one of them will say “Racers start your engines!” We both actually hate NASCAR so I don't know where they heard that, but it makes us laugh every time.

*Mya has been saying “I do not believe it” with sincere shock when something surprises her. LOL

*Playing with their dolls is one of their favorite things to do. They carry them around so gently or often want them wrapped up. I hear them saying to them “I love you, my sweet daughter” or “It's okay baby, mama's here”. Talk about melting my heart! Last night however Stella was pretending that she was the grandma and handed her baby to her Daddy and said “Here you hold my granddaughter”. Ummmm, stinkin' crazy to think that one day she will be a grandma and that would make me a great-grandma!!!!!

*Whenever the girls are upset about something or we correct them they threaten us with "Now you can't come to my party!" I'm not sure when this party is or why they are always talking about it but it is so funny. They can literally be sobbing and that is the first thing they say to us or each other. When they forgive whoever they are mad at that person is once again invited to their party. LOL
