Really the only anger he expressed and he was smirking while he did this! :)

Our First Reds Game (Kind of)
For Father's Day the girls and I got Daddy tickets to the Reds game! Grandpa Rethman and Aunt Kayla were coming with us and it was going to be a great day! We headed down to Grandpa's on a Wednesday night and we were getting up early to go to the game on Thursday afternoon. Daddy insisted we leave really early to be there to take in batting practice. Aunt Morgie got up early with us to do the girls' hair in super cute braids! We got to Dayton and Wes knew there was something wrong with his new SUV. He was trying to accelerate and actually would push his foot all the way to the floor and the car barely moved. Luckily, he was able to get off of 75 and to a transmission shop before it totally pooped out. We spent several hours waiting to figure everything out and the trip ended with our car being towed back to the dealership that we bought from and us piling into a rental car. There was no game for us that day, but we did have a delicious lunch at Max and Erma's! I was really proud of how Wes handled it because he was so excited to take the girls to his favorite place in the world and he didn't really get too upset about it. The girls also hung in there pretty good with me since it was a long and boring wait to figure things out. We were lucky to be allowed into an empty office space next to the transmission shop which was nice so they could run around. It ended up that our transmission was totally shot and had to be replaced but luckily it was under warranty. It was not a great day but we will go sometime!

That totally blows, but you made the best of it and will have this memory to look back on and laugh. :) Hopefully you can catch another game soon?
