Twin Talk Vol. 20

Mya: “I came to your room in the middle of the night last night and just flicked your bed until Daddy woke up and then I snuggled him!"

Stella: “Mommy, we are going to need to get new underwear because ourselves are getting big!”

Mya: “Daddy just came in my room and farted and that’s not nice because he just stinked the whole room up!”

Stella: (calling from her bedroom door because she was told she couldn't leave her room) “Mom, I need chapstick. My lips hurt so bad for real life. It's like a million fireflies are burning them!”

Stella: (Discussing how it was Father Dave's last day at church before he leaves for a new church) “He's not Father Dave, he's God!” Me: “No, honey, there is only one God and it isn't him.” Stella: “Well, he is our church God!”

Mya: “Daddy why do you have to be so stinkin' handsome?”

Stella: “Good night, Mommy and Daddy! When it's the middle of the night I'm gonna come in and snuggle you right up the nose!”

Stella: (to both Mommy and Daddy at different points) “I love you so much I can't even stand it!”

Stella: (running into my room yelling....) “Mommy, there was an ant on the ground in the kitchen so I bammed it with a shoe. Disgusting!!!!! Now it's dead!”

Stella: “Is today the day we go on vacation?”

Mya: “Its not VA-cation. Its BA-cation, Stella!”

Mya: (after me telling her to go make her bed) “It won't take me long because all I have to do is pull up my competer and put my pillows on the bed!”

Stella: “Good sake heavens!” We never say for heaven's sake so I'm not sure where she heard that but it cracked us up how she mixed that up with goodness sake.

Stella: “Daddy, I'm gonna snuggle you.......cause you're a Reds fan!”

Stella: (to Mya and I at breakfast one morning, Daddy was in our bedroom) “I smell a fart! Who farted?” Mya and I both said it wasn't us. Stella said, “Maybe it was Daddy and the fart flied all the way out here cause you know he's stinky!”
