A visit with Aunt Morgie

Yesterday Aunt Morgan came up to visit. She had a few days off from babysitting and we were so excited when she asked if she could come up to spend some time with the girls. We decided to take her to one of our favorite places - the zoo. You probably notice we go there a lot! My sister got us a membership there for Christmas and we absolutely LOVE that gift! We've definitely gotten tons of use out of it.
The animals were pretty active today so it was really fun for the girls. One of the polar bears was swimming right up to Stella when she was standing in the window......so cool!
The orangutans were fun, as always. We actually watched them getting fed so that was cool. I love this picture because you can see just how different our girlies are - stick straight, white haired Mya (who is 1/2 an inch shorter) and super curly, a little darker blonde haired Stella!
We have never walked around the outside of the building and have completely missed the gorillas in the past. They were being lazy but were laying right next to the glass so it was fun. Remember in my last twin talk post when Stella said "Hi Gorilla! I have boogers! You see 'em?" Well this is when that happened. :)
We've gone several times and we don't get them an animal every time. The last time we did it was their birthday. That day they got a zebra and a giraffe and they sleep with it EVERY night! So we decided to get them two more. It was there 2 year, 2 month birthday, after all. LOL Mya picked out a baby elephant that we named Eloise and Stella picked out an orangutan that we named Ollie.
Aunt Morgie had brought them each 2 shirts, but she also got them each a little lion bathtub toy at the zoo. We had some super happy girls! We stopped for lunch and then got some ice cream. We got home and Skyped with Aunt Kayla and then laid down for naps. It was a great day with Aunt Morgie!
When they got up from nap Mya was playing with my "flip pops" and I got my 2 favorite pictures of her EVER! A good smile from her is really hard to catch because she doesn't often cooperate when I ask her to look at the camera. She was pretty proud of what she was doing though so she was willing to smile at me so you can see how beautiful her smile really is. Love, love, love!!!!!
