Easter Weekend ~ Sunday

Easter morning we woke up and the girls had a surprise from the Easter Bunny. We didn't bother hiding their baskets because they aren't really old enough to understand that they would need to look for them. The Easter Bunny was good to them. They got a new walk/ride on toy, some foam letters and numbers that can also be used in the bath tub (they stick to the wall!), books, bunny ears, and a super cute sock bunny and chick. Here they are inspecting their loot.
The girls took a morning nap, we fed them lunch and then they needed a bath and it was time to head over to my grandma's for Easter with my mom's side. Here's a cute picture of Mya eating her lunch.
We got to Grandma and Grandpa's house at 1:30 and had a delicious meal! I ate WAY to much. Probably more than I did at Thanksgiving. Oh well, I'm breastfeeding twins. We had brought some Easter gifts for Will and Sophie to open. Will got a Dora Easter book, Dora band-aids, a slinky, Old Maid, Crazy 8s, and Go Fish card games and these cool sponge things that you put in water and they grow into space figures and trucks or cars.Sophie got owl bibs, an owl book, Easter books, plastic measuring cups and spoons, sunglasses, a watermelon hair clip and a pinwheel.

The Riedemans got my girls some bath toys and the cutest shirt from the Gap. They also got them the same letters that the Easter Bunny brought us so I told Ashley to just keep them for Will since he was eyeing them up. Will and I sorted the letters and numbers and then he wanted me to spell different family members names and he would find the letters and lay them out. There is only one of each letter so we improvised with some names (ex. William ~ one of the l's is a 7 and one of the i's is a 1).

We played with all of the kids and again spent the day catching up with family. Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa gave the girls some money in their eggs! Here are some more pictures to enjoy.

My girls sure do love their Nana.
Nana and Papa with all of their grandkids. Not one of them turned out great but here are some of our attempts.

Playing with Will

Uncle Taylor with the Stella
Uncle Taylor with the girls
Uncle Zach with the girls ~ the girls clearly loved this!
Amanda, Kelly and Brianne
Surprising Brianne...we wanted to take a picture around her while she was sleeping but she woke up. LOL

Will and Uncle Dub ran up and down Grandma's hallway about a thousand times because Will thought it was hilarious. The floor is wooden and so they could slide. Check out Will's happy face!Girlie PicWe are picture taking kind of people if you can't tell....Having a heart to heart with Mya at home.

The girls look adorable!

Watch those foam letters when they have teeth - we have them too, and as soon as I gave them to Logan for the first time he tried to bite a few of them. There are now teeth marks in several letters, and I'm afraid he might try to actually bite OFF part of them, so we're going to hold off until he understands not to put them in his mouth. Have fun with them!
