The morning was fun. The girls were in a great mood and we played with all of our new Easter gifts. I sent Wes about 5 video messages because the girls were being so cute and doing a bunch of funny things. I laid them down for their naps and when they woke up Mya was a different child. She had turned into this mean bruiser! She was beating the crap out of Stella for the rest of the day. I had to scold her several times. She would crawl up to her and just hit her or yank the back of her shirt so that she would fall. Once she yanked her really hard and then pushed her head into the floor. It really seemed like she was doing it to be nasty because sometimes Stella didn't even have a toy. Then when I was feeding her lunch she had no interest in the tomatoes. I know she isn't a huge fan but she has to try them about 10 times before she can decide if she doesn't like them or not. Anyways, she tasted one and spit it back out. Then she proceeded to drop it on the floor for Milo. I told her no and to not do that again. What did the little stinker do? She stared at me the whole time and continued to drop them on the floor one by one. She even tried to be sneaky about it. She tried to wrap her hand around the high chair and drop it in the back.
Hmmm, what's this?
Oh, it's a tomato! Blech! I hate tomatoes!
Just look at this face and tell me that she didn't know exactly what she was doing....notice her hand dropping the tomato on the floor.
All the while, Stella happily stuffed her face!
Playing with some of our plastic containers and water bottles, of course.*Notice Mya's little stinker tongue sticking out in many of the pictures.

Stella's face every time Mya came near because she knew she was about to get knocked around.
Investigating the banana keeper my friend, Lindsey, sent us from Japan..."What is this, Mommy?"
"Oh, I know it's a phone!"
Checking out mommy's cookie cutters ~ Lord knows they aren't being used for baking!

So when it was time for their second nap I loaded them in the car to run errands and decided they could nap in the car because I HAD to get out of the house. We took the recycling, stopped at the bank and headed to Target because I wanted to get some sippy cups with the flip straw for when we travel. They were still sleeping when I got to Target so I sat in the parking lot and read my magazine until they woke up. They ended up getting a little over an hour nap and I was okay with that.
After Target we went home and they got to play a little more before it was time for dinner. My mom stopped over with some Mancino's for me and to give me a little help with bedtime. I told her about Mya's behavior throughout he day. The girls were in their high chairs eating at the time and my mom got up close to Mya's face and told her very nicely that she needs to be a nice sister and be very gentle with Stella. Mya looked away and would not look at Nana again for a little while. She was being so ornery! When we finished dinner we took the girls outside to sit on the porch because it was a beautiful evening. Finally, we came back in and got them ready for bed. They went to sleep very easily and then my mom and I watched Dancing With the Stars. It was a LONG day but I always enjoy being with my girls ~ even if Mya was a handful today!
