Easter Egg Hunting We Will Go

Today we met my friends, Amy and Kelly, and their families at the Country Lane Tree Farm for some Easter egg hunting. This farm is about 2 miles from our house and so it is very convenient for us. In the fall, they have a pumpkin patch, a straw maze and hay rides. In the winter, they sell Christmas trees and have Santa and many other Christmas activities. And at Easter they have the Easter bunny, an egg hunt, and a breakfast. All year they have barrel rides and a bunch of different animals to look at and hold. Luckily, the rain held off today but it was still super windy and cold. The people who run the farm decided to move the egg hunt inside the barn where they have the straw maze in the fall. The girls were a little scared in there at first because it was kind of dark and hard to walk but they eventually figured it out. They were allowed to get 6 eggs and turn them in for prizes. They also had 2 slides that were super fun for the girls. The picture of Stella and I is us going down the slide but Wes couldn't snap it fast enough.
After we hunted for eggs, we went over to get get our prizes. It was kind of lame really because they just got a few pieces of candy and some little plastic toys. We had to pay $25 admission and I'm not really sure what it goes toward because we didn't eat the breakfast. Oh well, we had fun. After we chose our prizes we went to the little barn where we could pet and hold baby animals. Mya was so intrigued. I held a baby bunny and a baby duckling. She loved petting them. Stella only touched the bunny for a second and wasn't too interested.
They were blown away by all the farm animals. They saw a pig, a rooster, goats, reindeer and llamas. They got to bottle feed some baby goats and that was definitely the highlight of their day! They have been talking about it all day! How adorable are these pictures????
Before we left we said goodbye to our friends. Amy and family left early so I didn't get a picture of Logan but look at her stinkin' adorable little boy, Brayden. I got his picture earlier. I also didn't get Brody because he was off exploring, but here are the girls with Emmy and Jax

Those pics of Mya with the animals are adorable! Did you tell them you weren't eating the breakfast when you paid? That price sounds like way more than I thought...
