On Friday, I took a personal day to spend time with my family. Wes was on spring break and it was just killing me to go to work when I knew they were having fun at home. On Thursday I found out that my friend Kelly also took a personal day so we decided to meet up at Imagination Station. It was so much fun to have all the kiddos together. The best part was that teachers get in for free with some form of identification, the girls are free because they are under 2 so we only spent $1 for a locker and $5 for parking!!!! Score! It was such a fun place and we will definitely be going back often!
This super cool floor and wall are right outside of the bathrooms. The girls were so intrigued! In that first picture Stella looks like she is a lot taller than Mya but she was standing up on her toes with her heels resting on the wall behind her.

Daddy showed the girls how to play the harp. There are no strings so you just had to wave your hand around inside of it and the light sensors made it play.

Then we moved in to the little kid play area AKA Mya and Stella's heaven!!!! They had so much fun. The first thing you see when you enter is a large tree house that has tunnels, steps and a slide. They loved it!
There was a block area.

A pretend fire truck and house that was on fire.

A water area.

A table that has a tube in the middle that air is blowing out of. You could put a ball above the tube and it floats in the air. The girls thought it was hilarious to bend the tube so it blew air on their faces.

A baby room that Kelly and I took the kids in so we could get a break because it was a bit more confined. LOL It was pretty crowded in the big area and chasing the kids was exhausting. She is pregnant with her 4th baby and is super mom for sure!

An art room.

They also had a grocery store with tiny shopping carts and a doctor's office/hospital/ambulance. They weren't that interested in those areas but they were very cool....maybe next time! Before we were getting ready to head home for lunch and naps we took the kids down to the large piano that you can play by walking on it. The kids weren't heavy enough to make it work but they still had fun. Kelly's husband, Kris, had to bribe the kids with animal crackers to get them to stay still for a second so we could snap a picture.

It was a great day! The kids were exhausted when we left and fell asleep in the car....GRRRR. Nap was screwed up for the day but it was so worth it! Thanks for a fun day Garmans! Here are just a few more pics of the girls eating lunch when we got home!

1. I love that Stella's doing the whole "I'm taller than you" thing already. That cracks me up!
2. Love the zoomed-out version of the bubble wall pic.
3. Thank goodness for that little room, LOL! (And super mom? HA!!)
4. I always think how cool it would be if that whole play area was attached to our house.
5. Loved spending time with your whole fam. Let's do it again soon!
