My sweet niece, Sophie, turns two on April 20th! I cannot believe that she is two already. It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in the hospital (hugely pregnant!!!!) holding her for the first time. Ashley had her party yesterday and it was very nice. The pics of Soph and her family crack me up. She was continually saying "cheese" but not smiling. LOL

Sadly, it was a cold and gray day and Ash had planned an Easter egg hunt outside. We still bundled up and braved the wind for a few minutes outside. The kids loved it. Inside each of the eggs were Dora stickers, yogurt covered raisins and a teddy graham. She even had little Easter buckets for each of the them to hold their eggs in. It was a nice warm up for the egg hunt we did today (see next post). The kids enjoyed opening all of the eggs to see their loot!

Following the egg hunt we came inside and had a delicious supper of lasagna, salad, garlic bread and the most adorable little fruit flowers! We lined all the kiddos up in the high chairs in the kitchen and they went to town. See little Cecilia in the back corner. She is too stinkin' cute! We had a little after dinner dancing after our bellies were full.

After dinner was present time. Mya had to be in the mix at all times. It was a little hard for her because she just loved all of Sophie's new toys and she wanted so badly to play with them. I had to pick her up and take her out of the room once, but luckily Soph was fine with letting her play with some of the toys. I have a feeling that this is how birthdays will be for the next several years.

When the presents were done we sang to the birthday girl and she blew out her candle that sat on top of some delicious coconut cupcakes her mommy made.
