I am getting very excited to start the transformation of the girls' big girl bedroom. When we moved in we didn't do anything to their room because we knew that this summer we would be moving them out of their cribs. The room was completely white with tan carpet AKA BLAH!!!!! We used their cute nursery bedding but that really only includes a sheet at this point so it doesn't add much. We also didn't hang any of the cute things on their walls that we had in our old house because we didn't want to make unnecessary holes. These pictures are what the room currently looks like. The monogrammed Pottery Barn chairs were ordered to match their soon-to-be room and you will see a green lamp on top of the armoire that I just bought for the new room but other than that this is what the room has looked like since September when we moved in. The girls cribs are convertible that can turn into a toddler bed and a full bed. We are probably going to use the toddler rails at first and then move them to their full beds by the beginning of summer. We already have the rails we just have to purchase mattresses.

Their new bedding was mostly purchased by their Nana, Yaya and Aunt Ashley for Christmas and has been waiting in their closet ever since. This weekend Sherwin Williams was having a 40% off paint sale and so I purchased the paint for their walls and I am also going to paint a wooden night stand that I have. The walls are going to be two shades of light pink. The night stand is going to be green and bright pink. I have bought awesome wall decals of their name from my Uppercase Living party. I have had so much fun buying cute little decor for the room. We have a new white fan that needs to be hung and I bought some cute new curtains. We are going to be doing some rearranging in there and I'm not sure that all of the furniture is going to be able to stay. We shall see. Stay tuned!
