Three Year Well-Check

This morning I took the girls for their three year well-check with Dr. Carmen.  I love that they LOVE her!  What a change from when they were very little.  They used to sob and be terrified to go, but since their 2 year appointment they have completely changed their mind.  They talk about her and pretend they are her all the time.  We just LOVE her too and couldn't be happier with our choice of pediatrician.

Here are their stats:

Mya Alyse~
Height - 36 1/4 in. (40th percentile)
Weight - 31.8 lbs. (40th percentile)

Stella Grace~
Height - 37 1/4 in. (50th percentile)
Weight 29.4 lbs. (40th percentile)

We discussed their eating and sleeping habits and different abilities that they have.  They were so excited to spell their names for Dr. Carmen and kept whispering to me "Now Mommy?  Can we spell it now?"  She was pretty impressed that they could spell their own names and their sister's name. We had no concerns to discuss and so it was a fairly quick appointment.  They only question I couldn't answer was "Can they trace a circle?"  I've never had them try that but you better believe I will be doing that today! ;)  We also got their paperwork for preschool completed with their immunization records.   They each got a new book and a stamp on their hand before we left.  As we left and were getting on the elevator Mya said "Oh man, Mommy, I forgot to show her my pirouette!"  I told her next time she can, however unless they get sick we don't go back until fall for their flu shots!  Dr. Carmen also said that they need to stay in their 5-point harness car seats until they are 4 years old and 40 lbs.  and then they can move to a booster seat.  I don't think they will be 40 lbs. until well after 4 but we shall see!
