Today we decided to have girls' day out. It was so much fun. Amanda, my mom, my sister and I had decided a while ago that when Dear John came out we were going to see it at the theater. Shortly after that my friend, Amy, asked if I would go see it with her so her husband didn't have to go. I said "sure" but then decided that we could just all go together. My friend, Kelly, also decided to go and Amanda's mom, Christine, joined us as well. Just as we were leaving my mom's house my cell phone rings and it is my brother, Taylor. He wanted to know if it would be okay if he joined us. I said I didn't care but that he should just know that it is all girls going. He didn't mind and so he came along, as well.
We had a delicious lunch at Biaggi's and then headed over to see the movie afterward. The movie had gotten not the best ratings and I had heard from people that they didn't really like it. I read the book a few years ago so I at least wanted to give it a shot. I actually loved it! I thought it was very good. It was different then the book, but I thought that it ended better than the book did. On the way home from the movie Ashley and I had to pump in the car because we were missing a feeding. All of our husbands were home "babysitting" the kids. We all laughed about how guys say that. It is not babysitting when they are your children. All in all, we had a great day and I hope we do it again sometime soon!
