Snow Day!!!!!

The blizzard of 2010 has come and we are loving it at the Rethman house. Finally, Wes got to stay home with us and as I type this Lake has closed for tomorrow too so we will get to celebrate Wesley's birthday at home! We slept in a little and played with the girls this morning. When they woke up from their nap we ventured out to Target. It is Wes' favorite store and we like to just go and wander. It's bad news though because I always end up with more things than I need. My mom called on the way and was so shocked that we left our house. We figured that we were about to get snowed in for a few days and it wasn't horrible yet. We went really slow and didn't stay too long. I found way too many cute clothes for myself.

After we left Target, we went to lunch at Chili's because we got several gift cards for Christmas. I got some delicious chicken enchilada soup, a house salad and of course, their chips and ranch salsa dip! It was yummy and the girls were so good. We headed home for more play time with Mya and Stella. They were in such a happy mood today. I think they like all the quality time with Mommy and Daddy! Tomorrow we are going to try and go out to eat for Wes' birthday, but that will depend on the weather. Otherwise, it will be another day of hanging out at home. I am going to make and freeze more of the girls' food. It is so easy and I am loving it! I also have to finish grading papers and do my midterms (Boo!!!!!!!!!!!). I guess you can't have it all....snow days and no work.

All bundled and ready for Target......they were a sweaty mess when we got there. Mittens are not necessary, I guess.Stella is thinking "Are you sure we should be going out today?"After I told her we would be careful and that Daddy is an excellent driver...Playing with DaddyLooking for one particular toy..."I just know it's in here somewhere.""Ah ha, found it!!!"Sucking on the diaper bin."Hi Mom!"Happy Girls

P.S. This is my 100th post. I feel like I've reached a milestone!

100 posts, congrats!! Maybe you could celebrate by making a necklace with 100 Froot Loops...or seeing how long it takes you to jump 100 times...or seeing how far 100 steps can take you...or by coming up with different ways to make $1.00, LOL. OH! Maybe, how many days does it take you to change 100 diapers?? Yes, I'm a dork. LOVE the pictures and glad you get to enjoy these snow days together :)

Logan was looking at your 100th blog post with me, and he couldn't stop saying "babies" when he saw your girls. He also pointed to your background and said what I swear was "pretty," though he's never said that word before. Looks like you're teaching him new things!
