At 12:30, it was time to head out. Wes was playing in the "Shoot for the Moon" basketball game in Sylvania. It was a fundraiser to raise money so that all of the 5th grade students in the district can go to the Challenger Learning Center in Oregon. He played on the Sylvania teacher All-Star team against the 13abc all-stars team. Wes played in this game a few years ago, but I didn't get to go to that one and so this time I was going and bringing the girls. I knew it was going to be impossible for me to go to this game by myself because I couldn't hold both girls for the whole time, so my brother, Taylor, met me there to help out. It was very nice of him!

The game was really fun. They make it a competition between all of the elementary schools in the district to see who has the most spirit and can bring the most people. Wes teaches at Stranahan Elementary and his building had 5 staff members playing in the game. His principal was one of the 5. It was so cute to see all of the kids so excited to watch their teachers/principals playing. Some of the Stranahan kids made signs with the teachers' names on them. They even had a blown up picture of the teachers' faces on sticks! Unfortunately, I had to take the girls out to the car at half-time because it was time to feed them and they were getting hot and antsy. Some of the other teachers Wes works with were loving holding the girls and they did really well for a while, but it was packed in the gym and they were hot and tired. Taylor was a huge help getting them out to the car with me. I feed them and changed their diapers and then just played with them in their car seats until the game was over. In the end, the Sylvania teachers beat the 13abc All-Stars by 3 points. It was a pretty exciting game. Some of the players on the 13abc team were Lee Conklin, Jay Berschback, Jeff Smith and Zack Ottenstein (who is a bit of crazy competitive person!!!!).The awesome signs..

After the game was over we decided to go to Babies 'R Us since we were already out in the area. We needed to get some items for baby proofing, as the girls are into EVERYTHING! They fell asleep in the car and just slept in the stroller while we got 2 baby gates, some drawer and cupboard latches, corner bumper pads for our entertainment center, clothes (of course!), bath toys (because they LOVE to play in the water) and a stool for us to sit on while we bathe them. We were going to head home but we were right there so we stopped at Old Navy and Dicks too. Finally, we swung through Boston Market (one of our favs) and grabbed some dinner and headed home. The girls had gotten about a 2 hour nap at this point so we let them stay up an extra hour when we got home. They were in the best mood and were so cute playing and talking. It was a long, busy and fun day!
The girls playing...

There's trouble if I ever saw it.....she is messing with the cable box and trying to pull our new Old Navy clothes off the couch.
Happy girls

Casey, it blows my mind how big they are getting!! It really feels like yesterday that Amy, Jodi, and I were over visiting when the girls were like a week or two old!!
The close-up pic of Mya at the basketball game...I just love it! Looks like a very fun day, but I was hoping for a pic of the new hair accessories, LOL!!!!!
Aww, they really DO look so big and grown up! Can't wait to play tomorrow! I want to see the hair accesories too.
We were at Old Navy and Babies R Us yesterday too!
