Ok, back to today. So normally Mya is the one crawling all over Stella. But in just the last few days, Stella has become very adventurous. She is into EVERYTHING! Today she was climbing all over Mya and pulling herself up on my little Jan Pugh table, our end table, the entertainment center and the couch. This is a first and I was amazed at her determination and strength. I decided to put the legs on their music table and give her a shot at something that is the perfect height for her. I also knew that they love that table (thanks Aunt Ashley!!!) and so it would be a great motivator to get her to practice. She did it several times. We got video and took some pictures. Mya saw all of the commotion and decided to attempt the same feat. She pulled herself to her knees and was content playing like that. I stood her up to the table and she stood for a little while and then just kind of fell back to her butt. I was a nervous wreck and was always right there. Wes kept telling me to chill and that they need to learn. They will fall and it is okay. I know this, but it doesn't stop me from being nervous. I would be one of those crazy moms that wraps their kids in bubble wrap and always has a helmet on them if Wes wasn't around to stop me. Stella did hit her head the last time she attempted it and she cried pretty hard, but was okay shortly after. Here are pictures of them in action..."I want that paci...."
"How do you like it Mya? This is what I ALWAYS feel like!"
"Gotcha now sucka....."
"Hmmm this is new...."
"Maybe I'll try going under first."
"Oh look it's my favorite part." (They were watching Your Baby Can Read at the time and one of the songs came on.)
Back to business....
Success!!!!!
Pretty proud of myself!
Anything you can do, I can do better.
Well, actually I don't care that much. I think I'll just sit.
After I stood her up to it she liked it! *Check out Stella's look of
determination in the last picture.

Watch out sista! That Stella-kins is going to be walking in no time! I can't believe how big they are! I know I say that all the time, and I shouldn't be surprised because I think the same thing about my own child. But it always seems more dramatic when it's someone you don't see every day.
PS - I'm thinking we should probably keep Logan and Stella away from each other when they get a little older. I have a feeling that the two of them together will be T.R.O.U.B.L.E.!
